Friends of ours from Central Florida have launched their Kickstarter for their solar energy education class. Makes sense considering Florida gets over 300 days of sun a year! They’ll be traveling across the USA (and hopefully beyond!) in their solar powered van to help educate students on the benefits of solar energy, as well as establish ‘Sun Clubs’ in schools that work on projects that use solar energy and benefit their community. With The Orange Peel being a “solar powered” tool, we love the idea of educating people on the benefits of clean energy that is easily available to all!
